Instructions for oral presenters

Please find below guidance notes which have been compiled to ensure the successful running of the online sessions.  These notes will be updated so please check back periodically for updates.

  • Timings: please ensure you keep within your allocated time slot as these will be strictly enforced by the conference chair.
    • Plenary and Wohlfarth Lecture – 45 + 15 mins
    • IEEE DL’s – 35 + 10 minutes
    • Invited Talks – 25 + 5 minutes
    • Contributed Oral – 12 + 3 minutes

  • Chairs will be allocated to support the overall running of the session and will be responsible for the Q&A session. Information on chairs will be added to the programme as confirmed.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material included within their presentation.

  • Please note all sessions will be recorded and shared with attendees and via the On-Demand service. If you do not want your presentation recorded, please notify us prior to your session.

  • Presenters are encouraged to deliver their presentations ‘live’, however, there is also the option to pre-record your talk. If your preference is to pre-record the talk, please notify as soon as possible. The pre-recorded content will need to be supplied by Friday, 2 April and the expectation is that the author will still be online at the allocated time to answer any questions.

  • If presenting live, please send a  copy of your slides by Thursday 8 March. The expectation is that presenters will be able to share their own slides, however, its prudent to have a back-up copy in case of poor internet connection.
